摘 要:日本著名思想家柄谷行人在1980年的《日本现代文学的起源》中,批判“文学”概念的不证自明性,提出日本现代文学是明治20年代发生的认识论颠倒的产物,说明了文学与现代性以及民族国家建制之间的密切关系,影响巨大。不过起源与终结本是一体两面,柄谷同时也是现代文学终结的宣告者,他不仅撰文著书,更在20世纪90年代逐渐远离了文艺批评,走向了政治性颇强的理论书写和现实实践。柄谷的现代文学起源论和终结论不只是抽象的理论探讨,也关联到时代语境及其个人的思想“移动”,对此的探讨有助于思考文学的意义、当下左翼的发展等重要问题。In Origins of Modern Japanese Literature published in 1980,famous Japanese thinker Karatani Kojin criticized the idea that literature was self-evident,he put forward that modern Japanese literature was formed due to the epistemological inversions around 1887,illustrating the close connections between literature and modernity,literature and the establishment of nation-states.Though the book was highly influential both in and outside Japan,Karatani was also an advocator of the ends of modern literature.He not only published relevant essays and books,but also turned away from literary criticism and began more political theoretical writings in the 1990s.Karatani's theories on the origins and ends of modern literature are not just abstract thinkings,but also related to the historical context and his personal intellectual“movements”,thus reflections on these are helpful to analyze problems like the significance of modern literature,the developments of the left at present,etc.
