摘　　要：工业化是现代化的核心内容,是推动经济发展的必经之路。从世界近代以来经济和社会生产力发展的历程来看,其核心问题就是工业化,并不断实现产业结构的优化升级。新中国成立以来,我国工业发展取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就,成功推进和拓展了中国式现代化,不但为中国人民创造出美好生活,而且成为世界经济增长的重要稳定器。然而,尽管中国工业发展所创造的经济增长奇迹世所罕见、史所罕见,并形成了丰富、独特的发展模式、道路和经验,但是截至目前还没有从全球工业文明贡献的高度得到足够重视,学术研究相对滞后。In 1964,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made a major strategic deployment to carry out the third line construction in the middle and western parts of China.This large-scale national defense preparedness construction and industrial relocation based on military industry,transportation,and defense technology industry was of great significance for safeguarding national security,improving the national economic and social situation,and promoting the economic and social development of the middle and western parts of China.It was an important chapter in the history of the Party,the history of new China,the history of socialist development,and the history of the development of the Chinese nation.Since the reform and opening-up,research on the construction of the third line has gradually become a focus of academic attention.A large number of experts and scholars have devoted themselves to this research field,and related research results continue to emerge.Significant progress has been made in the construction of historical materials,theoretical exposition,and the expansion of research perspectives,gradually becoming a prominent discipline in the study of Party history and the history of new China.However,at the same time,research on the construction of the third line still faces many practical problems,such as relatively monotonous research perspectives,increasingly prominent homogenization phenomena,and insufficient interdisciplinary integration.In view of this,in order to further promote the in-depth development of the research related to the third line construction,summarize and discuss its valuable historical experience in the exploration of the path of Chinese modernization,inject new academic impetus into the research of the history of new China,and accelerate the construction of China's independent knowledge system of new China history,Contemporary China History Studies invites experts and scholars in different disciplines to write relevant articles for the readers.
