摘  要:山西亚高山草地生态系统野外科学观测研究站致力于开展亚高山草地生态系统的生物多样性保育与资源利用研究,通过动态监测研究生态系统的结构与功能,探索生态系统退化机理和恢复技术,并对湖泊群生态系统进行长期监测和研究。建设观测站的意义在于保护并充分利用华北地区的亚高山草甸资源,支持我国温带亚高山自然生态系统的研究和保护工作,预期目标包括获取大量连续观测数据、培养野外科技工作者和取得原始创新的科研成果。该观测站的建设将为我国生态文明建设提供支撑,为天然林和生物多样性保护提供支持。[Significance]Field experimental stations are pivotal in addressing socioeconomic needs while safeguarding ecological and environmental integrity.These stations generate invaluable field data,thus serving as the cornerstone of scientific research.Their key contributions include:Monitoring ecosystem changes:Field stations facilitate the observation of ecological dynamics,enabling timely identification and resolution of environmental issues,thereby supporting the protection and restoration of ecosystem stability and functionality.Promoting geological research:These stations facilitate in-depth studies of geological environments and natural disasters,offering scientific evidence and technical expertise for disaster prevention and mitigation,ultimately reducing socioeconomic effects.Water resource management:Research at these stations enhances the understanding of water resources and cycles,promoting sustainable water use and protecting aquatic ecosystems while ensuring their long-term health.Agricultural sustainability:By exploring agricultural environments and promoting ecological practices,field stations can advance sustainable agriculture,optimize land-use efficiency,and stabilize agricultural ecosystems.The Shanxi Subalpine Grassland Ecosystem Field Scientific Observation and Research Station is an important initiative of the Ministry of Education that aims to establish national field stations at universities to enhance research capabilities and accumulate critical scientific data.This initiative is a key component of China’s technological innovation framework.[Progress]In 2019,the Ministry of Education launched a program to recognize national field observations and research stations to enhance universities’research capabilities,data collection,and talent development in relevant fields.After a thorough evaluation,52 field observation stations were officially recognized,forming a network dedicated to China’s ecological monitoring.This network also provides a foundation for the advancement of ecological civi
