辽代塔式罐探究  

Exploration of Tower-type Pot in the Liao Dynasty

摘　　要：塔式罐是唐代典型随葬器物,由盖、罐、座三部分组成,器表多饰人物、动物、花卉等,一般流行于北方地区。通过整理唐至辽时期北方地区墓葬出土器物发现,塔式罐未在唐末期完全消失,而可能以塔式盖罐或塔形器的形式在辽代继续留存。对辽代塔式罐进行类型学和文化因素分析后认为,辽代塔式罐在形制上继承唐代并在原有基础上发生流变:一种演变为多层复合塔形器,另一种则简化为双层盖罐。器物多见于汉人火葬墓中,以幽州地区数量最多且具有较强一致性,东北较不多见且与幽云地区差别较大。不同区域间塔式罐的差异性特征,多与本地区传统丧葬习俗及外来佛教影响有关。The tower-type pot,a typical funerary object in the Tang Dynasty,is composed of three parts:lid,pot and seat.The table is decorated with figures,animals,flowers and other ornamentation.It is generally popular in northern China.It is generally believed in the academic circles that tower tanks were popular from the Tang Dynasty to the Five Dynasties,mostly focusing on the Han government areas in the Central Plains,but paying less attention to the nomadic areas in the north.By sorting out the excavated artifacts from tombs in northern China from the Tang Dynasty to the Liao Dynasty,we find that the tower-type POTS did not completely disappear in the late Tang Dynasty,but may still exist in the form of tower-type LIDS or tower-shaped vessels in the Liao Dynasty.After analyzing the typology and cultural factors of tower shaped jars in the Liao Dynasty,it is believed that the shape of tower shaped jars in the Liao Dynasty inherited from the Tang Dynasty and underwent changes on the original basis:one evolved into a multi-layer composite tower shaped vessel,while the other was simplified into a double-layer covered jar.Artifacts are commonly found in Han cremation tombs,with the highest quantity and strong consistency in the Youzhou area,and are less common in the Northeast but differ significantly from the Youyun area.The differential characteristics of tower jars between different regions are often related to traditional funeral customs in the local area and the influence of foreign Buddhism.
