摘　　要：乔好勤先生出生贫寒,少年坎坷,然而怀着对图书馆学专业的无限热爱与对图书馆职业理想的矢志不移,他两度求学珞珈山,先后在河南省图书馆、武汉大学、华南师范大学从事图书馆学教学和图书馆管理工作。经过数十年如一日的不懈努力与艰辛探索,乔好勤在学术研究和专业工作领域都取得了显著的成就,留下了许多弥足珍贵的历史著述,成为享誉中国的图书馆学家、目录学家和文献学家以及华南地区图书馆学界和图书馆业界的重要代表人物,为中国图书馆学研究和图书馆事业的发展做出了杰出的历史贡献。Mr.Qiao Haoqin was born into poverty and faced hardships in his youth,yet with an unwavering passion for the field of library science and a steadfast commitment to his professional ideals.He pursued his education twice at Luojia Mountain,subsequently engaging in library science teaching and library management in Henan Provincial Library,Wuhan University and South China Normal University.After decades of relentless effort and arduous exploration,Qiao Haoqin achieved remarkable success in both academic research and professional work,leaving behind numerous invaluable historical writings.He becomes a renowned Chinese library scientist,bibliographer and philologist,as well as an important representative figure in the library science community and library profession in South China,making outstanding historical contributions to the development of Chinese library science research and library services.
