中华民族观视域下沈从文的现代教育书写

摘　　要：沈从文在对现代教育的直接书写中,民族国家意识是其叙述的主要旨归之一,由此引发他对中华民族的诸多思考。通过对民族教育和传统教育的双重书写,沈从文揭示了二者的单一与枯燥,而这种状况则促使其义无反顾地追求现代文明。在对城市教育的反思中,沈从文呈现了现代教育的困境;通过对这种教育培育的城市人精神品性的省思,沈从文表达了对现代时期中华民族品性生成的忧虑。对于如何重造中华民族的健康品性,沈从文则提出了超越功利性和应脚踏实地的实施途径。In SHEN Congwen’s direct writing on modern education,national consciousness is one of the main themes of his writing,and thus many reflections on the Chinese nation play an important role in his works.Through the dual writing of ethnic education and traditional education,SHEN Congwen revealed the dullness and distress that both possess which helps to reveal why he pursued modern civilization without hesitation.In his reflection on urban education,SHEN Congwen expressed the spiritual drawbacks brought by modern civilization to the Chinese nation;Through reflection on the spiritual character of urban people cultivated by this education,SHEN Congwen expressed his concern about the formation of the character of the Chinese nation in the modern era.As for how to rebuild,SHEN Congwen proposed a path that goes beyond utilitarianism and does solid work.
