清前期的同善会考述

摘　　要：同善会兴起于晚明,清初曾一度沉寂,然不久重兴。顺康之交,苏州府长洲、昆山、太仓,常州府无锡、江阴,松江府上海,嘉兴府嘉善、秀水、桐乡等地纷纷重设同善会,呈现出向乡镇发展的趋向。此外,扬州府宝应、如皋、江都,淮安府以及山东莱芜、安徽舒城也占据一席之地。从地域分布上看,清前期同善会主要以江南地区为中心,并开始向苏北、浙南及鲁、皖地区流布,其间可看出地方善会谱系的传承与嬗变。由于清前期同善会的倡办者不像晚明高攀龙等人在全国范围内享有盛名,声望仅限于本地,故而同善会的影响也多囿于一县之内。不过,这些同善会却是清代中后期各地善堂善会及慈善事业兴起的直接因子。Tongshan charity association emerged in the late Ming Dynasty,but it briefly fell silent after change of Dynasties,and soon revived.At the turn of Shunzhi and Kangxi,Tongshan charity association was reestablished in the County of Changzhou,Kunshan,Taicang in Suzhou Prefecture,the County of Wuxi,Jiangyin in Changzhou Prefecture,Shanghai County in Songjiang Prefecture,the County of Xiushui,Tongxiang in Jiaxing Prefecture and other places,and showing a trend of developing to villages and towns.In addition,the County of Baoying,Rugao,Jiangdu inYangzhou Prefecture,Huai’an Prefecture,Laiwu County in Shandong Province and Shucheng County in Anhui Province also occupied a place.From a regional distribution perspective,Tongshan charity association mainly took the Jiangnan area as the center,and then spreaded to northern Jiangsu,southern Zhejiang,Shandong and Anhui.During this period,we could see the inheritance and evolution of the local good association pedigree.Due to the fact that the advocates of the Tongshan charity association in the early Qing Dynasty did not enjoy a high reputation nationwide like Gao Panlong and others in the late Ming Dynasty,their reputation was limited to the local area,so the influence of the Tongshan charity association was mostly limited to one county.However,it was a direct cause of the rise of local charity associations and philanthropy in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
