摘　　要：陈翰笙以经济区域研究为基本的研究方法,在对中国、印度、巴基斯坦、美国等社会的研究中均使用这种方法,以获得对社会的科学认识。作为一种研究方法,经济区域研究将历史学、社会学、地理学、经济学等学科方法综合起来,这种方法具有唯物史观根源,与苏联学者的研究方法相近。陈翰笙能够更为灵活地运用经济区域方法,兼采同时代学者研究方法之长处,将历史学、社会学、地理学、经济学的诸种方法相互融合,并在研究中从中国农村问题进行扩展,提出关于社会发展的一般性问题。陈翰笙试图以具体的经济区域研究回答社会发展的现实问题,其研究方法具有积极的借鉴意义。Chen Hansheng’s research method is based on the ecological and agrarian regions research,which was applied to the society study of China,India,Pakistan and America,to obtain a scientific understanding of society.As a research method,ecological and agrarian regions studies integrate history,sociology,geography,economics and other disciplines.It had the root of historical materialism.This feature also existed in other studies of the Soviet Union during the first half of the twentieth century.Chen Hansheng was able to apply economic regional methods more flexibly,drawing on the strengths of contemporary scholars’research methods,integrating various methods from history,sociology,geography,and economics.He expanded Chinese rural issues to the general problems about social development through specific ecological and agrarian regions research,which has positive reference significance.
