摘　　要：建设中华民族现代文明是中国共产党在新时代新的文化使命。中华民族现代文明是对马克思主义文明观的继承,对中华优秀传统文化的守正与创新,对中国共产党人文化建设经验的汲取,对革命文化的弘扬和社会主义先进文化的发展。建设中华民族现代文明是实现中华民族伟大复兴的应有之义,是推进中国式现代化的必然要求,是满足人民日益增长的美好生活需要的内在要求。前进道路上,建设中华民族现代文明要坚持走自己的路,实现“精神上的独立自主”;秉持开放包容,促进外来文化本土化;坚持守正创新,赓续历史文脉。Building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation is the new cultural mission of the CPC in the new era.The modern civilization of the Chinese nation is the inheritance of the Marxist concept of civilization,the observance of the correctness and innovation of the excellent traditional Chinese culture,the drawing on the experience of the Chinese Communists in cultural construction,the promotion of the revolutionary culture and the development of the advanced socialist culture,Building a modern civilization for the Chinese nation is a proper meaning of realising the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,an inevitable requirement for promoting Chinese-style modernisation,and an intrinsic requirement for meeting the people's growing needs for a better life.On the way forward,to build a modern civilization for the Chinese nation,we must insist on following our own path to achieve"spiritual independence";uphold openness and tolerance to promote the localisation of foreign cultures;and adhere to the principles of righteousness and innovation to continue the historical lineage.
