摘　　要：丁丙是清末著名的藏书家,十分注重地方文献与佛教文献的整理与刊刻。不仅如此,丁丙也是虔诚的佛教徒,笃信因果之说,通过礼忏诸佛、修建寺院、供养物品等活动积善成德,刊刻佛寺志亦是其中之一。光绪四年(1878)至光绪二十三年(1897)间,丁丙一共出版《武林理安寺志》《玉岑山慧因高丽华严教寺志》《西溪梵隐志》等17部佛寺志。所刻佛寺志内容涉及寺院兴建沿革、宗派发展、高僧生平、寺产名目、规约制度等方面内容,同时辑录历代高僧和文人墨客诗文、序文、题跋等相关文章,有较高史料价值;在重刊过程中,增补内容,订正讹误,提升了志书质量;又四处访书,觅得珍稀本,使一些佛寺志流传至今。更为重要的是,丁丙所刻佛寺志已成为现存佛寺志最为通行的版本。其在保存寺志文献上厥功至伟。Ding Bing,a renowned bibliophile of the late Qing Dynasty,placed great importance on the collation and printing of local literature and Buddhist scriptures.A devout Buddhist,he was a firm believer in karma and in accumulating merit through acts of benevolence,including venerating Buddhas,constructing temples,and making offerings.Among his charitable endeavors was the printing of Buddhist temple chronicles.Between 1878 and 1897,during the Guangxu Emperor's reign,Ding Bing published 17 temple chronicles,such as the Chronicle of Li'an Temple in Wulin,the Chronicle of Huiyin Goryeo Temple of Huayan Buddhism in Mount Yucen,and the Chronicle of Buddhist Temples and Literature in Xixi.These chronicles constitute significant historical literature,detailed temple construction history,Buddhist sect development,eminent monks'life stories,temple property inventories,and temple rules.They also compile poems,prefaces,postscripts,and other writings by distinguished monks and scholars.In reprinting older chronicles,Ding Bing expanded content,corrected errors,and enhanced quality.His extensive book searches led to the discovery of rare editions,ensuring the preservation of numerous Buddhist temple chronicles.Most notably,the editions he printed have become the most widely circulated versions of existing temple chronicles,making his contributions to the preservation of temple chronicles and associated literature immeasurable.
