加拿大高校图书馆面向社会开放服务的调查与分析

摘　　要：面向社会开放服务是高校图书馆在开放获取、资源共享理念驱动下发展的必然趋势。采取文献调研和网络调研的研究方法,调查QS名单中排名前20的加拿大高校的图书馆在面向社会服务中开放对象和开放内容的情况,采取案例分析法对较为典型和具有特色的社会开放服务进行分析。调查显示,加拿大高校图书馆开放服务人群分为校友、互惠借阅协议或合作协议成员的师生、社区成员、社会公众及其他访客4类。开放服务内容分为馆藏资源的开放、空间资源的开放、设施设备的开放以及专项服务的开放4个方面。在此基础上对面向特殊人群的特色服务进行剖析,包括面向泛社区人员的扩展服务、面向中学师生群体的专有服务。加拿大高校图书馆的实践从开放服务理念、开放服务人群、开放服务内容和开放服务管理4个方面为我国高校图书馆社会化服务带来启示与借鉴。Providing open services to the public is an inevitable trend for the development of university libraries driven by the concepts of open access and resource sharing.By literature review and online research,this paper investigates objects and content of open services to the public in top 20 Canadian universities ranked by QS World University Rankings.Adopting case analysis method to analyze typical and distinctive universities'open services,it is revealed that the objects could be categorized into alumni,faculty and students participating in reciprocal borrowing or cooperative agreements,community members,and the general public and other visitors.Besides,the content is classified into four dimensions:resources,space,facilities,and special service.On this basis,characteristic services for special groups are analyzed.There are two types of services,one is extended services for community members,and the other is proprietary services for middle school teachers and students.Furthermore,the practices of Canadian university libraries provide Chinese university libraries on promoting socialized services with insights and references from the perspectives of the concepts,objects,content,and management of open service.
