四溴苯酐反应增容PA6/APP/BPS复合材料制备与性能

摘  要:采用聚磷酸铵(APP)与溴代聚苯乙烯(BPS)作为阻燃剂,以四溴苯酐(TBPA)为反应型增容剂,与聚酰胺6(PA6)进行熔融共混,制备了PA6/APP/BPS/TBPA复合材料,并探究TBPA含量对复合材料性能的影响。极限氧指数(LOI)测试、垂直燃烧测试(UL94)及锥形量热仪测试数据结果表明,当TBPA质量分数达到或超过0.5%时,PA6复合材料的LOI值均可达到30%以上,同时满足UL94V-0级阻燃标准。此外,随着TBPA质量分数的增加,燃烧时CO产量增加,间接证明了TBPA有效增强了APP与BPS的阻燃效能。热失重结果显示,含有TBPA的PA6复合材料具有更好的热稳定性,在300℃以下基本不失重。力学性能测试显示,TBPA的加入降低了PA6复合材料的拉伸强度,小幅度提升其韧性。由此可见,TBPA在PA6/APP/BPS复合材料中具有良好的增容作用,能提升复合材料的阻燃等级、热稳定性和韧性。Ammonium polyphosphate(APP)and brominated polystyrene(BPS)were used as flame retardant additives,combined with tetrabromophthalic anhydride(TBPA)as a reactive compatibilizer,and melt blended with polyamide 6(PA6)to prepare PA6/APP/BPS/TBPA composites,the effect of TBPA content on the performance of PA6 composites were investigated.The results of limit oxygen index(LOI)test,vertical flammability test(UL 94)indicate that when mass fraction of TBPA reach or exceed 0.5%,LOI value of PA6 composites can reach over 30%and meet UL 94 V-0 flame retardant standard.In addition,with the increase of TBPA content,CO production in cone calorimeter test increase,indirectly showing that TBPA could effectively enhance the flame retardant performance of APP and BPS.Thermogravimetric results show that PA6 composite containing TBPA has better thermal stability and lost weight little below 300℃.Mechanicl performance tests show that the addition of TBPA reduce the tensile strength of PA6 composites and slightly improve their toughness.From this,it can be seen that TBPA has a good compatibilization effect in PA6/APP/BPS composites,which can improve the flame retardant grade,thermal stability,and toughness of the compos‐ites.
