摘 要:棉秆(CS)作为一种丰富且可再生的天然纤维资源,其在复合材料中的应用潜力等待深入挖掘。采用湿法处理工艺,用钛酸酯偶联剂(TC)对CS纤维进行表面处理,再将其与环氧(EP)树脂混合,采用模压工艺制备复合材料。借助傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)仪、万能力学试验机、电子简支梁冲击试验机、动态热机械分析(DMA)和扫描电子显微镜(SEM)等,研究TC用量对复合材料形态结构、力学性能、DMA以及疏水性能的影响。结果表明:当TC用量占填料质量的0.5%时,CS-TC/EP复合材料的包覆效果最佳。材料的弯曲和冲击强度较未改性前分别提高了44.64%和66.32%,达到74.43 MPa和3.21 kJ/m^(2)。FTIR结果表明,偶联剂的引入并未对CS纤维骨架结构造成影响,偶联剂成功包覆在CS纤维表面。DMA结果表明,复合材料的最大储能模量从271.5 MPa提升到393.3 MPa。SEM分析进一步说明,偶联剂的引入改善了纤维与树脂之间的界面结合能力,增强了材料的力学性能。TC包覆处理使复合材料的疏水性能得到提高。As an abundant and renewable natural fiber resource,the application potential of cotton straw(CS)in composites is waiting to be deeply explored.CS fibers were surface treated with titanate coupling agent(TC),and then mixed with epoxy resin(EP),and the composites were prepared by molding process.With the help of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),universal mechanical testing machine,electronic simple support beam impact testing machine,dynamic thermomechanical analysis(DMA)and scanning electron microscope(SEM),the influence of the dosage of different coupling agents on the morphological structure,mechanical properties,dynamic thermo-mechanical properties and hydrophobic properties of composites was studied.The results show that CS-TC/EP composite has the best coating effect when the amount of the coupling agent TC is 0.5% of the filler mass.The bending and impact strength of the composites are increased by 44.64% and 66.32%,respectively,compared with the unmodified ones,can reach 74.43 MPa and 3.21 kJ/m^(2).FTIR results show that coupling agent does not affect the structure of CS fiber,and is successfully coated on the surface of the CS fiber.The results of DMA show that the maximum energy storage modulus of composites is increased from 271.5 MPa to 393.3 MPa.The SEM analysis further states that the introduction of the coupling agents improve interfacial binding ability between the fiber and the resin,and enhance the mechanical properties of the composites.TC coating treatment improves the hydrophobic properties of the composite.
