摘　　要：This article aims to analyze the development and shortcomings in women’s education in Asia during the past two decades.Asian women students have been subjected to numerous forms of discrimination and unequal treatment in school and the global labor market,despite the efforts of educators,politicians,and many related stakeholders.The article first critically examines several theories of globalization and education from the perspective of equity.It then analyzes several typical pieces of study on the obstacles that Asian women students encounter both before and after graduation to draw implications for future research.
