摘　　要：近代以来,中国人民始终以中华民族伟大复兴为使命,并且实现了三次重大的发展。前两次是近代国人分别以“自强”与“救亡”为主旨的民族复兴思潮。当近代中国处于救亡图存的困境之中时,民族性的概念从西方引入并得以充分阐释。在这两次民族复兴的思潮中,民族性的解释和唤醒成为思潮的核心内容,国人试图以此改变民族多舛的命运。把民族性解释为民族的心理、精神、性格或习性、能力和典型的文化等,除了表达一种强烈的爱国情怀外,亦在寻觅一条从民族性的发现和张扬到民族伟大复兴的可行之道,即希望从民族性的恢复、发扬或改造之中找到支撑民族复兴的精神力量。这些尝试与努力为实现中华民族伟大复兴提供了丰厚的精神滋养和有益的思想启迪。When modern China was in the predicament of trying to save itself from the nation, the concept of nationality was introduced and fully explained. In the two ideological trends of national rejuvenation, the interpretation and awakening of national character became the core content of the ideological trend, and the Chinese people tried to use this to change the nation's ill-fated destiny. They explain national psychology, spirit, character or habits, abilities and typical culture by national character. In addition to expressing a strong patriotic feeling, they intend to find a feasible way from the discovery and promotion of national character to the great rejuvenation of the nation. That is hoping to find the solid strength to support national rejuvenation from the restoration, development or transformation of national character. These attempts and efforts have provided rich spiritual nourishment and beneficial ideological enlightenment for the third national rejuvenation,which is the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era.
