摘 要:“翡翠草”为暖季型狗牙根属矮生百慕大新颖草坪草种,2012年于生产中选育,经10年繁殖推广,建植面积超过2000万m^(2),受到长江中下游及以南广大地区建植单位好评。该品种表现适应性强、蔓延迅速、草层低矮、叶色为罕见的墨绿色(水肥充足时呈淡蓝色)、节短、叶短宽、较耐高温干旱、再生力强,适于河湖生态堤防和城市绿化建设。通过2.5 a鄱阳湖区生态堤防草坪建设的观察研究,比较系统地论述了该草种的性状特征、草坪轻简节本管理技术,为翡翠草生态堤防草坪推广示范提供了科学依据。“Emerald Green Grass”is a new cultivar of warm season Bermuda dwarf lawn grass.It was selected in production in 2012.After 10 years of propagation and promotion,the planting area has exceeded 20 million square meters,and has been appreciated by greening departments in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and south.The cultivar is characterized as strong adaptability,rapid spreading,short grass layer,rare dark green leaf color(light blue when water and fertilizer are sufficient),short nodes,short and wide leaves,high temperature and drought resistance,and strong regenerating ability.Thus,it is suitable for ecological embankment of river and lake and urban greening construction.Through the 2.5 years observation and research on the construction of ecological embankment lawns in Poyang Lake area,the characteristics of this grass cultivar and the management technology of light and simple lawns were systematically discussed,which provided a scientific basis for the promotion and demonstration of Emerald Green Grass ecological embankment lawns.
