摘 要:The global interest in nuclear power has experienced a resurgence,prompting a revitalized focus on the research and development for advanced nuclear fuel cycles.However,this expansion comes with challenges,especially regarding the disposal of spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste(HLRW)[1].Americium(Am)represents one of the most problematic elements in the nuclear fuel cycle and is generated as a byproduct when uranium undergoes neutron irradiation in nuclear reactors.
