韩德让“北院枢密使”身份献疑

摘　　要：韩德让以汉人身份出任北院枢密使,打破了契丹贵族垄断此官职的政治传统,学界前人对此深信不疑。然而细绎史籍便可以发现,韩德让出任北院枢密使的记载并不确凿,结合近几年出土《韩德让墓志》分析,得出其“枢密使”为南院枢密使而并非北院枢密使。韩德让的确曾执掌北枢密院,但并非以北院枢密使一职,而是以“大丞相”的身份兼管。后人被韩德让特殊的政治地位所混淆视听,“甘愿”弥合文献记载的疏漏,最终有“北院枢密使韩德让”之误解。The fact that Han Derang was appointed as the“Khitan North Privy Counselor”as a Han breaks the political tradition of Khitan nobility’s monopolizing this offi cial position,which is fi rmly believed by previous scholars in the academic community.However,a detailed analysis of historical records reveals that the record of Han Derang serving as“Khitan North Privy Counselor”is not conclusive.Based on the analysis of The Epitaph of Han Derang unearthed in recent years,it is concluded that his identity of“Privy Counselor”is the South Privy Counselor rather than North Privy Counselor.Han Derang did indeed managed the position of the North Privy Council,serving not as North Privy Counselor but as the“Grand Prime Minister”.Later generations were confused by Han Derang’s special political status,and“willingly”bridged the gap in literature records,ultimately leading to the misunderstanding of“Han Derang identity of Khitan North Privy Counselor”.
