摘　　要：Virology,as a branch of microbiology,is a science that studies viruses,covering various aspects of their life activities,such as types,composition,structure,metabolism,growth,reproduction,genetics,evolution,and distribution,as well as their interactions with other organisms and the environment(Flint et al.,2015;Zuo et al.,2024).The scope of virology research is broad,encompassing virus classification,pathogenic mechanisms,genomics,vaccine development,immunology,diagnostics,and virology education and talent training.Significant progress in virology research has greatly promoted advancements in medicine,agriculture,and public health.
