交通基础设施对区域资本流动的影响

摘　　要：交通基础设施是推动资本区域流动的关键要素之一。本文基于我国2007—2019年铁路、公路、航空三种主要交通运输方式数据,揭示交通基础设施驱动资本区域流动扩展的作用机制。实证结果显示,交通基础设施越发达,区域间的资本活跃程度越高,同时,这种效应因交通基础设施类型的不同而有所差异。此外,资本更容易向大城市聚集,产生“虹吸效应”。机制分析表明企业往往会寻找规模更大的市场进行投资,而交通基础设施能够促进地区间的连通,使得投资者更容易发现市场,为投资者发掘更优质的投资市场提供机会。因此,要充分把握交通基础设施影响区域间资本流动效应的现实状态,发挥交通基础设施在促进区域间资本流动、进而激发国内大循环的积极作用。Transportation infrastructure is one of the key elements driving capital regional flows.Based on the data of the three major transportation modes of railroads,highways and aviation in China from 2007 to 2019,this paper reveals the mechanism of the role of transportation infrastructure in driving the expansion of regional flows of capital.The empirical results demonstrate that the more developed the transportation infrastructure is,the more active the capital is among regions,while this effect varies according to the type of transportation infrastructure.In addition,capital is more likely to gather in large cities,resulting in the"siphon effect".Mechanism analysis shows that enterprises tend to look for larger markets to invest in,and transportation infrastructure can promote inter-regional connectivity,making it easier for investors to find markets,and providing opportunities for investors to explore higher quality investment markets.Therefore,it is important to fully grasp the reality of the state of transportation infrastructure affecting the effect of inter-regional capital flows,and to play a positive role in promoting inter-regional capital flows and thus stimulating the domestic macro-circulation of transportation infrastructure.
