银行网点下沉能够促进企业数字化转型吗--基于融资约束缓解与监督治理机制的检验

摘　　要：基于2010—2023年沪深两市A股上市公司数据,研究了银行网点下沉对企业数字化转型的影响。研究表明:银行网点下沉能够通过基层网点数量的扩张显著地促进企业数字化转型意愿提升。机制分析显示,银行网点下沉通过融资约束缓解机制提升了企业金融可得性,并通过监督治理机制降低企业代理成本。进一步分析发现,银行网点下沉带来的企业数字化转型意愿提升,能够显著促进企业TFP提升,并且具有就业结构优化效应。为此,应持续推进金融网点与服务下沉,丰富数字化转型金融产品供给,不断改善银行业金融机构的服务质量,促进数字金融发展与传统金融扩张有机融合。Based on the data of the A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2010 to 2023,this study investigates the impact of bank branch sinking on enterprise digital transformation.The research findings show that bank branch sinking can significantly promote enterprise’s willingness to undergo digital transformation through expanding the number of grassroot branches.The mechanism analysis indicates that bank branch sinking has improved corporate finance accessibility through financing constraint alleviation mechanism,and reduced corporate agency costs through supervision governance mechanism.The further analysis reveals that the promotion of enterprise’s willingness to undergo digital transformation brought about by bank branch sinking can significantly promote the improvement of enterprise TFP and have an optimization effect on employment structure.To this end,it is necessary to continue promoting the sinking of financial outlets and services,enrich the supply of digital transformation financial products,continuously improve the service quality of banking financial institutions,and promote the organic integration of digital finance development and traditional finance expansion.
