摘　　要：数字经济的快速发展为传统商业银行带来了前所未有的时代机遇,也并存着生存挑战。基于管理层视角,考察了具有信息技术背景的管理人员在银行数字化转型过程中的影响。研究发现,银行管理层中具有信息技术背景的管理者所占比例越高,越有利于推动银行数字化发展,且研究结论在经过稳健性检验后依然成立。机制检验发现,管理者信息技术背景主要通过提高信息科技人才数量以及研发投入的渠道来促进商业银行数字化转型,较低的行业贷款集中度及较高的资本充足率更有利于发挥管理者对银行数字化发展的推动作用。当商业银行不具有外资背景以及所在地区金融科技发展程度低、市场化程度高时,管理者信息技术背景对银行数字化转型的推动作用更显著。进一步研究发现管理者在推进银行数字化转型过程中对银行劳动力需求也产生了一定影响。在不同职位中,具有信息技术背景的董事会成员对银行数字化发展的促进作用更显著,而管理者信息技术背景主要影响商业银行管理维度及战略维度的数字化转型。传统商业银行数字化转型中应提高管理者信息技术水平,完善信息技术管理机制和技术型人才培养模式。Based on the management perspective,this paper examines the impact of IT-savvy managers on banks'digital transformation.This paper investigates the effect of IT-savvy managers on banks'digital transformation.It concludes that a higher proportion of IT managers in bank leadership is beneficial for digital advancement,primarily by increasing IT talent and R&D spending.Lower loan concentration and higher capital adequacy further enhance this impact.The role of IT managers is particularly pronounced in domestically-owned banks in regions with less fintech development and higher marketization.Additionally,IT-savvy board members significantly influence labor demand and strategic aspects of banks’digital transformation.In the digital transformation of traditional commercial banks,it is essential to enhance the information technology level of managers,improve the information technology management mechanism,and the mode of cultivating technology-oriented talents.
