数字经济何以提高中等收入群体的消费水平?

摘　　要：中国拥有全球规模最庞大的中等收入群体,中等收入群体已成为数字经济时代消费主力军。本文基于2017-2018年中国综合社会调查(CGSS)数据,运用主成分分析法测算数字经济发展水平的基础上,对数字经济影响中等收入群体消费水平的机制与效应进行理论与经验研究。研究结果表明:数字经济对中等收入群体消费总量、生存型消费、发展享受型消费均有显著正向影响,其中对发展享受型消费的促进作用更强。进一步研究发现,数字经济对中等收入群体消费的影响具有受教育程度异质性和年龄异质性,数字经济对高学历中等收入群体消费和青年中等收入群体具有更大促进作用。产业结构高级化是数字经济促进中等收入群体消费的重要机制。China has the world's largest middle-income group,which has become the main force of consumption in the digital economy era.Based on the data of China General Social Survey(CGSS)from 2017 to 2018,this paper theoretically and empirically studies the mechanism and effect of digital economy on the consumption level of middle-income groups on the basis of using principal component analysis to measure the development level of digital economy.The results show that the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the total consumption of middle-income groups,subsistence consumption and development-oriented consumption,among which the promotion effect on development-oriented consumption is stronger.Further research finds that the impact of digital economy on the consumption of middle-income groups had educational heterogeneity and age heterogeneity,and the digital economy had a greater promoting effect on the consumption of high-educated middle-income groups and young middle-income groups.The upgrading of industrial structure is an important mechanism for digital economy to promote the consumption of middle-income groups.
