摘 要:本文的目标并不高远,只是简明扼要地概述西方音乐哲学史上最重要的话题。不过,这些话题错综复杂,每一个话题都涉及到各种专业知识。这样来看,或许也算是“目标远大”。正因如此,且篇幅有限,本文在内容上难免有所选择。首先,我们有必要介绍一些对音乐哲学产生(或至少理应产生)重要影响的学科。音乐理论处于描述性议题和规范性议题的交叉地带,因此对音乐哲学的研究具有重要意义。This short text does not have any more ambitious goal than that of providing a concise overview of the most salient topics in the history of western philosophy of music.But this aim may be judged to be ambitious enough,given how sprawling the topic is,and considering the different kinds of expertise that would be required to provide an ideal treatment of each issue.It is not only because of space limitations that the following overview is bound to be a selective one.It is useful to mention disciplinary areas that are not at the center of this overview,but that have had,or at least deserve to have,considerable impact on the philosophy of music.Music theory is at the crossroads of descriptive and normative issues,and it thus of great philosophical interest.
