略论五代至宋代嘉兴地区的行政区划沿革

摘　　要：嘉兴地区在五代时期首次设置郡级机构——秀州,在北宋政和年间,秀州获赐“嘉禾郡”。在南宋宁宗时期,秀州两经升格,先于庆元元年(1195)升为“嘉兴府”,后于嘉定元年(1208)升为“嘉兴军节度”,地位一步步上升。嘉兴的升格得益于皇权附加的政治意义,也是政治军事形势变迁的结果。从秀州到嘉兴军的沿革历程可以看出,在皇权的操纵下,宋代地方统县行政区升格更加普遍化,以致逐渐失去了原本的秩序和实用价值,也对后世王朝的地方行政区划体制的改革产生了影响。During the Five Dynasties,the Jiaxing region first established a county-level institution,Xiuzhou.In the Zhenghe period of the Northern Song Dynasty,Xiuzhou was bestowed with“Jiahe County”.During the reign of Emperor Ningzong of the Southern Song Dynasty,Xiuzhou underwent two significant promotions:it was first elevated to“Jiaxing Prefecture”in the first year of the Qingyuan period(1195),and then to“Jiaxing Military Region”in the first year of the Jiading period(1208),gradually enhancing its status.These promotions were attributed to the political significance conferred by imperial authority,and were also the result of changing political and military circumstances.From its evolution from Xiuzhou to the Jiaxing Military Region,it can be seen that under the control of imperial power,the upgrading of county-level administrative divisions became more common in the Song Dynasty,leading to a gradual loss of original order and practical value.This process also had an impact on the reform of the local administrative division system in later dynasties.
