契约农业视阈下交易距离对山区农户履约行为的影响

摘　　要：契约农业发展的关键在于农户的履约问题。文章利用安徽省茶叶主产区的农户调查数据,运用Probit模型和中介效应模型,实证分析交易距离对山区农户履约行为的影响及其作用机制。结果表明,交易距离对山区农户的履约行为有显著影响,其中,订单距离越远,农户越倾向于违约;市场距离越远,农户越倾向于履约。交易距离对农户签约决策的边际影响大于履约行为,存在从决策到行为的“悖离”。交易距离通过交易成本影响山区农户的履约行为,但交易成本的来源不同对农户履约行为的作用机制不同,其中,由合约距离形成的交易成本对农户签约决策和履约行为均起部分中介作用;而由市场距离形成的交易成本只对农户签约决策起部分中介作用,对农户履约行为起完全中介作用。从签约到履约,农户对交易距离形成的交易成本反应不一,时间成本的作用大于交通成本;农户的履约行为存在区域异质性,在交通不便、地理位置越偏远的山区,合约距离对农户履约行为的制约作用越强。因此,应以乡村振兴为契机,夯实包括山区特色产业在内的基础设施建设,合理布局特色农产品交易市场(地点),发展农村电商,推动电商实体终端下沉和快递网点向乡村延伸,解决电商销售“最后一公里”问题,消除交易距离对山区农户履约行为的影响。The key to the development of contract farming lies in the issue of farmers’performance.Using survey data from tea-producing areas in Anhui Province,this paper uses the Probit model and mediating effect model to empirically analyze the impact of transaction distance on the farmers’performance of contracts and its mediating mechanism.The results are as follows.Transac-tion distance has a significant impact on the performance of the farmers,among which,the farther the order distance is,the more likely the farmers are to default;the farther the market distance is,the more likely the farmers are to comply.The marginal impact of transaction distance on farmers’contracting decision is greater than that on their performance behavior,and there is a“contra-diction”from decision to behavior.Transaction distance affects mountainous farmers’performance through transaction costs,but the mediating mechanism of transaction costs on it is different depending on the source of transaction costs,among which,the trans-action costs formed by contract distance partially mediate farmers’contracting decision and performance;the transaction costs formed by market distance only partially mediate farmers’contracting decision and fully mediate their performance.Farmers react differently to transaction distance-induced transaction costs from contracting to performing,with indirect costs playing a greater role than direct costs.Farmers’performance of the contracts exhibits regional heterogeneity,and the constraint on farmers'perfor-mance by contract distance is stronger in areas with poor transportation and geographically remote locations.Therefore,we should take rural revitalization as an opportunity to consolidate infrastructure construction including characteristic industries in mountain areas,rationally layout the characteristic agricultural products trading market(location),develop rural e-commerce,promote the subsidence of e-commerce entity terminals and the extension of express outlets to the countryside,solve the pro
