摘　　要：康鹏新著《辽代五京体制研究》是学界第一部围绕辽朝五京体制来研究辽朝地方统治体制的专著,本着十年磨一剑的深邃功力、不破不立的实证理念,从地方统治体制的总体结构、辽朝的政治中心即捺钵与“都城”、辽朝特色的地方统治政策三个视域,围绕军事、财赋、行政三个层面,系统洞察辽朝统辖与治理辽朝地方社会的运行模式,无论在史料钩沉、微细实证上,还是主旨布局、张弛有度上,既有精微深邃之惬意,又有辨章学术之缜密,且不乏真知灼见,总有引人入胜、别有洞天之气象。《辽代五京体制研究》的问世,极大地提升了辽朝地方统治体制研究之学术力度与深度,也增强了辽史研究之厚重与稳重。Kang Peng's newly published Research on the Five Capitals System of the Liao Dynasty is the first scholarly work dedicated to studying the local governance system of the Liao Dynasty through the lens of its Five Capitals system.With ten years of meticulous research,the book follows a rigorous empirical approach based on the concept of"no destruction,no creation."It examines the overall structure of the local governance system,the political center of the Liao Dynasty—specifically the Nabo and"capital cities,"and the distinctive local governance policies of the Liao Dynasty.Through the perspectives of military,fiscal,and administrative aspects,the book systematically analyzes how the Liao Dynasty governed and managed local societies.Whether in the collection and analysis of historical materials or in its nuanced and meticulous empirical approach,as well as its well-structured arguments,the work impresses with both profound insights and academic precision,offering new perspectives and engaging readers with its depth and clarity.The publication of Research on the Five Capitals System of the Liao Dynasty has significantly elevated the scholarly depth and strength of research on the Liao Dynasty's local governance system and added substantial weight to the field of Liao history studies.
