中国新闻漫画中的多模态隐喻建构与表征研究

摘　　要：多模态隐喻研究是认知语言学的重要转向之一,新闻漫画则是多模态隐喻研究的重要语类。基于概念隐喻及Forceville的图像隐喻理论分析框架对107幅中国新闻漫画中的多模态隐喻进行梳理,将其中的多模态隐喻建构类型分为文字—图像隐喻、情境隐喻、混合隐喻及图像明喻四类,在此基础上可以发现中国新闻漫画的语类特点及认知理据,以期拓展多模态隐喻研究思路,丰富认知语言学理论研究的多模态视角。Multimodal metaphor is one of the most significant research fields in cognitive linguistics with news cartoon as one of its focal genres.Based on conceptual metaphor theory and Forceville’s theoretical framework on pictorial metaphor,this study analyzes 107 Chinese news cartoons with the aim to investigate the multimodal metaphors and the representations.The findings suggest that there are four types of meaning construction processes in terms of multimodal metaphors in Chinese cartoons including verbal-pictorial metaphors,contextual metaphor,hybrid metaphor,and pictorial simile,manifesting the specific genre features of Chinese news cartoons and cognitive motivation.This study sheds light on approaches to multimodal metaphor.
