摘　　要：The World Bank defines smallholder farmers as those who cultivate fewer than five acres(2.02 hectares)of land.However,according to data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2021.approximately 210 million farming houscholds in China each operate around 0.5 hectares of farmland.These extremely small landholdings per household con-tribute to low agricultural labor productivity and low incomes for farmers.
