摘　　要：这座拥有别具一格的翼形屋顶和倾斜支柱的建筑几乎被世人所遗忘,隐匿于易北河上马格德堡老城对面一座小岛的植被之中。在长达三十多年的时间里,它默默无闻,直至城市启动了一项全面翻新的计划。如今,它已摆脱植被的缠绕,重新展现出开阔的景致,变成一座闪闪发光的白色建筑嘉立在人们眼前——昔日的丑小鸭成为一只引人注目的白天鹅。With its distinctive wing-like roof and angled supports,the building was once nearly forgotten,overtaken by vegetation on an island in the Elbe River opposite Magdeburg's old town.It lay dormant for three decades until the city initiated a full-scale renovation.Now,freed from the encroaching vegetation and offering expansive views once again,the gleaming white building stands transformed——a striking swan in place of the former ugly duckling.
