“天”对于中国古代历史理论的意义

摘　　要：“天”这个概念在中国古代历史理论中有着举足轻重的地位。以往的研究很少论及这一点,文章尝试对这个问题进行初步的梳理与阐释。文章认为,“天”对于中国古代历史理论的意义主要体现在四个层面:第一,“天”堪称中国古代理论思维的源泉;第二,“天”被视为人类历史的起源;第三;“天”被作为解释人类历史的根本依据;第四,辩证看待“天”在历史解释中的意义。这些认识有助于进一步厘清中国古代天人思想的复杂内涵,有助于深入认识中国古代历史智慧的起源,有助于持续推动中国古代历史理论研究的创造性转化、创新性发展。The concept of"Tian"(Heaven)played an important role in ancient Chinese historical theory.For it having been rarely noticed by previous studies,this paper attempts to make an investigation and an explanation.The article argues that the significance of"Tian"(Heaven)to ancient Chinese historical theory was reflected in four levels.Firstly,"Tian"could be reckoned as the source of theoretical thinking in ancient China.Secondly,"Tian"was regarded as the origin of human history.Thirdly,"Tian"was taken as the fundamental basis for the interpretation of human history.Fourthly,the significance of"Tian"in historical interpretation must be dialectically regarded.All of the meanings are helpful to further clarify the complex connotation of the thought of the relationship between Heaven and Human in ancient China,to deeply understand the origin of ancient Chinese historical wisdom,and to continuously promote the creative transformation and development of Chinese ancient theories of history.
