摘　　要：Kouxian,or ancient jaw harp,is the earliest string instrument that has been found in China.By placing kouxian between the lips and tapping it with the fingers,the instrument can produce sounds,such as singing birds or a spring flowing through mountains.Dating back 4,000 years,kouxian is regarded by many as a "living fossil,"which has promoted the musical charm produced by this unique string instrument.它小巧别致,却表现力极强,放在两唇之间用手拨动便有了曲调。它的声音响起,仿佛鸟儿在林中歌唱,山涧流水潺潺。它产生于人类的幼年时代,仿佛是婴儿出生时发出的第一声啼哭。它就是被誉为人类“初音”、音乐“活化石”的乐器——口弦。
