美国普渡大学基石综合文科项目对我国高校文科教育的启示

摘　　要：人文和社会科学是国家记忆和公民活力、文化理解和交流、个人成就和共同理想的源泉。美国普渡大学自2015年首次提出并实施基石综合文科项目以来,通过设置人文科学智慧的课程目标、构建入门课程与金字塔主题课程、颁发三级基石证书、呈现人文作品集成果,如今已重振了其人文学科在全国通识教育中的作用,并取得了巨大成功。对新文科建设背景下我国高校文科教育具有以下启示:回归人文学科教育初心,注重核心素养导向目标;重视文科教材建设,设计结构化教学内容;探索新型教师文化,打造师生学习共同体。The humanities and social sciences are the fountainhead of a nation s memory and civic vitality,cultural understanding and exchange,personal achievement,and shared ideals.Since Purdue University in the United States first introduced and conduct the Cornerstone Integrated Liberal Arts Program in 2015,by setting the wisdom of the humanities through course objectives,offering introductory and pyramid-shaped courses,awarding three-tiered cornerstone certificates and emphasizing portfolio-based assessment.The program has achieved tremendous success.In the context of constructing new liberal arts programs in China,the implications for liberal arts education in Chinese higher education institutions are as follows:return to the original mission of humanities education with an emphasis on core competency-oriented goals;place importance on the development of humanities textbooks and design structured teaching content;explore new forms of faculty culture to create a learning community among teachers and students.
