摘　　要：牟平东三十里有一个大村,村里有百十户人家(现为上庄村)。村南有两座山,西边有高一些的叫釜台山;东边山小,平顶。据说有庙,叫八王山。两山之间有小径,通向西南:,山脚下有一个很大很大的湾,叫黑龙潭(现叫龙劈水库)。黑龙潭上边是一个东南、西北走向的石硼,像一个填卧在那,山中的溪水漫过石填流人黑龙潭中。30 li(15 kilometers)east to Muping there was a large village(today’s Shangzhuang Village)of about 100 households.To the south of the village lay two hills.The higher hill in the west was called the Futai Hill and the smaller one in the east flat-topped with a temple as some say was named the Eight-king Hill.The hills were connected by a track leading to the southwest.At the foot of the hill lay a very large bay known as the Black Dragon Pool(today’s Longpi Reservoir).
