基于限流电路实现浪涌抑制的高集成软启动电路设计

摘  要:针对发光二极管驱动转换器在芯片上电启动时易出现浪涌电流损坏电路,且软启动电路占面积大的问题,设计一种基于限流电路实现浪涌抑制的高集成软启动电路。在电路启动前期,通过降低限流电路阈值限制电感峰值电流,进而限制脉冲宽度调制电路输出占空比,减缓芯片输出电压上升速率,保障平稳启动,使浪涌电流最小化。采用东部0.18μm工艺仿真结果表明,该电路版图仅占0.0057 mm^(2),芯片输出缓慢上升,电感电流在软启动阶段受限,初始涌流仅126 mA,1.6 ms后完成软启动,适用于多种直流-直流转换器应用。For the problems that the light-emitting diode driver converter is prone to be damaged by the inrush current during the power-on startup of the chip and that the soft-start circuit occupies a large area,a highly integrated soft-start circuit with surge suppression based on a current-limiting circuit is designed.In the early stage of circuit startup,the peak current of the inductor is limited by reducing the threshold of the current-limiting circuit,thereby limiting the output duty cycle of the pulse width modulation circuit and slowing down the rising rate of the chip output voltage to ensure a smooth startup and minimize the inrush current.Adopting the East 0.18μm process,the simulation results show that the circuit layout only occupies 0.0057 mm^(2),the chip output rises slowly,the inductor current is limited during the soft-start stage,the initial inrush current is only 126 mA,and the soft-start is completed after 1.6 ms.It is applicable to various direct current-direct current converter applications.
