现代汉语“刺客”的语义演变探究

摘　　要：“刺客”本义指的是怀挟武器进行暗杀的人。现代汉语中近年流行的“雪糕刺客”中“刺客”的语义明显脱离了其本义,且衍生出了一系列其他用法,如“卡路里刺客”“花椒刺客”“文具刺客”等。可以总结归纳出“刺客”一词的新义共有三个义项:1.指一类游戏角色;2.指出乎意料的贵价商品;3.指在意料之外,对受事造成影响的事物或事件。此外,“刺客”新义主要通过隐喻的机制进行语义演变。在“刺客”的语义演变过程中,该词逐渐突破了原有的搭配范围,出现了词义泛化的倾向。The term,ci ke(assassin),originally referred to(ke)individuals who(ci)carried weapons for covert killings.In modern Chinese,ci ke of ice cream is trendy words in which the term significantly deviates from its original meaning.As a result,a series of other usages are derived from the trendy words,such as calorie ci ke,ci ke of Sichuan pepper,and stationery ci ke.The new meanings of ci ke can be summarized into three categories:1)a type of game character;2)unexpectedly expensive goods;3)things or events that unexpectedly affect the patient.Additionally,the semantic evolution of ci ke primarily occurs through metaphorical mechanisms.During this process,the original collocational range of the term has gradually been expanded so that a tendency towards semantic generalization comes into being.
