摘　　要：尔朱氏集团的崛起受诸多因素影响,其中并肆地区的地理基础是重要的因素之一。自北魏建国伊始,尔朱氏契胡部落乃趋附魏室为其效力,博得魏室政治襄助后南扩游牧疆域。当政治核心区域由北秀容推至并肆地区后,尔朱氏集团倚恃并肆特殊的地理要素迅速勃兴。尔朱氏集团势力日显雄厚之际,集团便推行军事征伐与政治兼并的策略称雄山西界域,成为一支影响魏末政局走势的地方力量。The Erzhu clan,with Erzhu Rong,the Khitan-Hu warrior,as its core figure,was a political and military group in the Northern Wei Dynasty.The rise of the clan was influenced by numerous factors,with the geography of the Bing-Si region(referring to the two areas of Bingzhou and Sizhou,which are located in the vicinity of today’s Taiyuan and Xinzhou in Shanxi Province,respectively)being one of the most significant.From the inception of the Northern Wei Dynasty,the Erzhu Khitan-Hu tribe curried favor with and attached itself to the Northern Wei court.Therefore,the clan expanded its pastoral territories southward with political support from the court.As the political core shifted from Northern Xiurong(north of present-day Shuoxian County,Shanxi Province)to the Bing-Si region,the Erzhu clan leveraged the unique geographical advantages to rapidly rose to prominence.With increasing power,the clan adopted military conquests and political mergers to dominate the Shanxi region.As a result,it became a local force that influenced the political trajectory of the late Northern Wei Dynasty.
