Brief Report on Archaeological Investigation and Exploration of Lingdao Ancient City Site in Ningyuan County,Hunan Province

摘　　要：马王堆三号汉墓出土的《地形图》上标注有营浦、春陵、泠道、南平等8个城址,然而多年来只是对泠道故城做了零星的考古调查工作,认识十分有限。为深入认识泠道故城遗址,2019年湖南省文物考古研究所对该遗址做了系统的考古调查勘探,对泠道故城遗址的面积,城址的结构、年代和文化内涵,以及城址与周边墓群的关系等有了进一步的认识。根据遗址采集遗物以及周边发现墓群,初步推测泠道故城遗址年代为汉至隋唐时期。此次考古调查勘探也为更好地挖掘泠道故城遗址的价值,做好遗址的保护规划和利用提供了新的考古资料。The“TopographicMap”unearthed from Han Tomb 3 at Mawangdui marks 8 ancient city sites including Yingpu,Chongling,Lingdaoand Nanping.However,over the years,only sporadic archaeological investigations have been conducted on the ancient city of Lingdao,and limited knowledge about the site has been obtained.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the Lingdao Ancient City Site,in 2019,the Hunan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted a systematic archaeological survey and exploration of the site,gaining further understanding of the size,structure,age,and cultural connotations of the Lingdao Ancient City Site,as well as the relationship between the site and tombs in its periphery.Based on the collection of relics and the discovery of tombs in the surrounding area,it is preliminarily speculated that the age of the Lingdao Ancient City Site falls between the Han Dynasty and the Sui and Tang Dynasties.This archaeological survey and exploration also provides new archaeological data for better exploring the value of the ancient city site of Lingdao and for better protection planning and utilization of the site.
