摘　　要：2017年10月至2018年1月,湖南省文物考古研究所对湖南省怀化市中方县荆坪古城进行了系统的考古调查与勘探,对其规模、布局、保存现状等都有了初步认识,为今后考古发掘和相关研究工作奠定了基础。From October 2017 to January 2018,the Hunan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted systematic archaeological investigation and survey of Jingping Ancient City in Zhongfang County,Huaihua City,Hunan Province,and has gained a preliminary understanding of its size,layout and preservation status,thus laying a foundation for future archaeological excavations and related research.
