摘 要:朱逌然为晚清重要官员,现存《朱逌然日记》记录了其于光绪年间担任湖南、四川学政的纪行见闻。督学湘、蜀期间,他主持院试、改革书院、整顿学风,相关事务均详载于日记。由于学政职务具有行旅与社交的特殊属性,除了直陈公务外,日记更以较多笔墨记录了沿途山川形胜与风俗人情,当地碑刻古泉与地理历史,以及具体社交场景与身心感受。以日记为媒介,朱逌然将督学生活的见闻感思融入日常公务书写中,通过官员、文人、学者等多维主体的视角转换,加以事件叙述、风景描绘、情志抒发等多种方式的灵活运用,在系统性、组织化的文本结构上铺设流动立体、翔实鲜活的纪行文学图景,全面拓展了纪行文学的表现空间,为纪行文学的发展贡献了日记独特的文体意义。Zhu Youran was a prominent official in the late Qing Dynasty.The existing Diaries of Zhu Youran documented his experiences as an education administrator in Hunan and Sichuan during the region of Emperor Guangxu.While supervising the educational assessments in Hunan and Sichuan,Zhu led elementary examination,reformed academies and improved style of study,with all relevant activities meticulously recorded in his diaries.Due to the special attributes of the education administrator’s role,which combines both travel and social interactions.Zhu’s diaries not only present his official duties but also provide ample details to descriptions of the natural landscapes,local customs,historical inscriptions,ancient springs,and geographical history encountered along his journey,as well as specific social gatherings and his physical and emotional feelings.Through the medium of diaries,Zhu Youran integrates his observations and reflections on his life as an education administrator into his routine official writings.By shifting perspectives among multiple subjects——those of the official,scholar and literati--he employs various narrative techniques such as event recounting,scenic depiction and emotional expression.This flexibility,combined with the systematic and organized structure of the text,constructs a dynamic,three-dimensional and vivid portrayal of documentary literature.This approach significantly expands the expressive space of documentary literature and contributes to its development through the unique stylistic significance of the diary genre.
