海外毛泽东研究的方法、议题及特点——以《国外毛泽东研究译丛》为例

摘　　要：毛泽东一直是海外学者研究中国和中国共产党的重要议题。通过深入研究毛泽东的思想、政治行为和领导方式,海外学者试图从另一个角度审视和理解中国的历史进程和社会变革。翻阅海外学者眼中的毛泽东,无异于是在翻阅另一个经过海外视角审视的中国。本研究选取了《国外毛泽东研究译丛》中具有代表性的著作作为分析对象,对不同海外学者关于毛泽东的研究进行比较,探讨海外毛泽东研究中普遍存在的方法、议题和特点,并对其作出简要的评述,以期推动国内毛泽东研究进一步深化。Mao Zedong has always been a crucial topic for overseas scholars studying China and the Communist Party of China.By conducting in-depth research on Mao Zedong's thought,political behavior,and leadership style,overseas scholars attempt to examine and understand China's historical progress and social transformations from another perspective.Reading about Mao Zedong through the eyes of overseas scholars is tantamount to exploring another China as viewed through an international lens.This study takes representative works from the Translated Series on Mao Zedong Studies from Abroad as the objects of analysis,compares different overseas scholars'research on Mao Zedong,discusses the prevalent methods,topics,and characteristics of overseas Mao Zedong studies,and provides a brief review.The aim is to promote further in-depth development of domestic Mao Zedong studies.
