Objective To observe the application effect of Internet+Omaha system in PICC continuing care of tumor patients. Methods The 228 tumor patients who had undergone PICC catheterization in the hospital between January and June 2023 were randomly divided into 2 groups,114 each. The control group implemented routine education and follow-up.On this basis, the observation group conducted education and follow-up based on the Internet+Omaha system for three consecutive months, and compared the PICC complications, anxiety and depression,self-management ability and quality of life of the two groups after placement of tubes. The incidence of PICC complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);After the intervention,SAS and SDS scores decreased,self-management ability scores and FACT-G scores improved, and improved better in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted continuous nursing for tumor patients with PICC catheterization based on the Internet+Omaha system can reduce the incidence of PICC complications, improve negative emotions, promote my daily management ability and quality of life.
