摘　　要：人类对美好生活的追求始终围绕着个人自足的经济生活、自主的公共生活、自由的社会生活,并落定于共同体的和谐繁荣。新中国成立以后,党领导人民不断探索解决落后的生产力与人民物质文化需要的矛盾,人民的美好生活渐露曙光。新时代,随着社会主要矛盾的变化,人民对美好生活的向往成为党领导人民奋斗的目标。新时代人民的美好生活彰显为人民富足的经济生活、良善的公共生活、自由的社会生活的统一,并在实现民富国强和中华民族伟大复兴的征程中逐步实现。追求人民美好生活的国家治理要吸取人类社会治理取得的一切积极成果,将对美好生活的追求落定于国家治理现代化进程中,通过个人的自足、自主、自由与民富国强辩证统一的能动实践来实现。尤其要在经济与社会治理场域中实现经济民主和政治民主的有机统一,让人民群众能够在辛勤劳动中实现共同富裕,并积极参与公共事务治理,共创美好生活。People pursuit of a better life encompasses self-sufficient economic life,autonomous public life,and free social life,and is solidified in the harmony and prosperity of the community.Since the funding of the People's Republic of China,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,continuous efforts have been made to address the contradiction between backward productivity and the material and cultural needs of the people,gradually bringing the vision of a better life closer to reality.In the new era,as the principal contradiction in society changes profoundly,the pursuit of a better life for the people has become the goal of the Party's leadership and people's struggle.The better life for the people in the new era manifests itself as the unity of rich economic life,good public life and free social life,and can be gradually realized in the process of enriching the people and empowering the nation on the new journey of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.China's governance for a better life should seek to draw on the positive achievements of human social governance,incorporating the pursuit of a better life into the process of modernizing national governance.This is achieved through active practices characterized by individual self-sufficiency,autonomy,freedom,and the harmonious coexistence of individual and national prosperity.Particularly in the economic and social governance fields,it aims to achieve an organic unity of economic and political democracy,enabling the people to achieve common prosperity through hard work and active participation in public affairs governance to create a better life.
