摘　　要：槟榔是一种传统的中药材,含有槟榔碱、槟榔多酚等多种活性物质,具有抗氧化、抗炎症、抑制微生物活性、提高消化酶活性和促进骨骼生长等多种功效,能够改善动物健康,提高动物生产性能。本文综述了槟榔中的主要活性物质及其生理功能,以期为槟榔在动物生产中的广泛应用提供参考。Areca nut is a traditional Chinese medicine,containing a variety of active substances such as areca nut and betel nut polyphenols,and it has many functions including antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,inhibition of microbial activity,improvement of digestive enzyme activity and promotion of bone growth,etc.,which can improve animal health and improve animal performance.This review summarizes the main active substances in areca nut and their physiological functions,in order to provide a reference for the wide application of areca nut in animal production.
