摘　　要：社区文化是基层治理的社会性基础。对社区文化的深入理解需要回到由吴文藻开创、费孝通等践行的社区研究传统,认为社区研究的本质是对社区文化的研究。社区文化被吴文藻划分为三个层次:器物层面、社会层面、精神层面。经由费孝通的研究实践,将其简化为更适合中国社会分析的两个层面:生态层面、心态层面。在基层社区治理尤其是纠纷调解中,发挥基础作用的往往是心态维度的社区文化。若从社会学角度推进社区文化研究,一方面需要回到吴文藻、费孝通所在的社区研究传统,另一方面需要进一步深化对心态维度文化的理解,至为关键的是需要直面人性在理解社会性中的基础作用。Community culture is the social basis of grassroots governance.A deep understanding of community culture needs to return to the tradition of community research initiated by Wu Wenzao,who believed that the essence of community research is the study of community culture.Community culture is divided into three levels by Wu Wenzao:the artifact level,the social level,and the spiritual level.Through Fei Xiaotong’s research practice,it is simplified to two levels,which are more suitable for Chinese social analysis:the ecological level and the mentality level.In grassroots community governance,especially in dispute mediation,the community culture of the mentality dimension often plays a fundamental role.To promote the study of community culture from the perspective of sociology,on the one hand,it is necessary to return to the community research tradition of Wu Wenzao and Fei Xiaotong;on the other hand,it is necessary to further deepen the understanding of the mentality dimension of culture.Of utmost importance,it is necessary to face the basic role of human nature in understanding sociality.
