摘　　要：进入21世纪,随着“中华民族伟大复兴”政治动员的日益深入,中华民族是不是“国族”在政治学和民族学领域成为热点话题,主要形成“人民共同体”和“历史文化共同体”两种话语叙事。《中华民族共同体概论》对上述学术成果进行提炼总结,将中华民族共同体的本质属性定位在“国家层面的民族”。这个定位有双重理论意义:一是中华民族不是想象的民族共同体,而是漫长历史进程中各民族交往交流交融形成的具有共同历史文化的民族实体,中华民族既是现代中国各族人民的政治共同体,也是具有共同历史文化的人们共同体;二是中华文明是中华民族的表征,中华民族和中华文明是依托国家形态发展演变的。新时代中华民族共同体建设,要准确把握中华民族作为国家层面的民族属性,推动中华民族成为认同度更高、凝聚力更强的命运共同体。With the entry of the 21st century and the deepening of the political mobilization of“the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,”whether the Chinese nation is a“nation-state”has become a hot topic in the fields of political science and ethnology,leading to two discourse narratives:“community of the people”and“historical and cultural community.”The textbook“An Introduction to the Community of the Chinese Nation”refines and summarizes the above-mentioned academic achievements,positioning the essential attribute of the community of the Chinese nation as a“nation at the state level.”This positioning has dual theoretical significance:First,the Chinese nation is not an imagined national community,but a national entity with a common history and culture formed by the interaction,exchange,and integration of various ethnic groups in a long historical process.The Chinese nation is not only a political community of all ethnic groups in modern China but also a community of people with a common history and culture.Second,Chinese civilization is the representation of the Chinese nation,and the Chinese nation and Chinese civilization have evolved relying on the state form.The construction of the community of the Chinese nation in the new era requires accurately grasping the national attributes of the Chinese nation at the state level and promoting the Chinese nation to become a community with a shared future with a higher degree of identity and stronger cohesion.This is crucial for consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation and advancing the Chinese path to modernization.
