摘　　要：《柳毅传》是最为流行的唐传奇之一,历代皆有戏曲改编作品,且多部并出、争奇斗艳。一代代文人才子选择《柳毅传》进行改编搬演,除其具有较高的艺术成就和较大的改编空间外,更有社会心理、文化观念等深层次的动因。《柳毅传》借由女子在不幸婚姻中蒙受的冤屈和遭受的不公正对待,读书人在科举仕宦中经历的挫折等典型性生命体验,引发广大读者与观众的强烈共鸣,其对情理正义的呼唤、善恶恩报的宣扬、大团圆结局的安排,尤其符合民间审美心理的需要,故受面向市民大众的戏曲艺术的青睐,衍生出诸多的改编文本。The Tale of Liu Yi is one of the most enduring legends of the Tang dynasty, with numerous opera adaptations across different eras, each striving for distinctiveness. Over successive generations, scholars and artists have chosen to adapt and perform this tale, driven not only by its artistic richness and potential for variation but also by deeper motivations rooted in social psychology and cultural values. The narrative resonates deeply with audiences and readers by addressing universal life experiences, such as the grievances of women in oppressive marriages and the struggles of scholars facing obstacles in the imperial examinations and official careers. Its themes of justice, the triumph of good over evil, and the eventual happy ending align closely with folk aesthetic preferences and emotional sensibilities. As a result, The Tale of Liu Yi has become a popular subject in opera, particularly for mass audiences, leading to a wide range of adaptations.
