摘 要:为了推进我国对掺铥保偏光纤激光器的研究,进行了掺铥保偏光纤(TD-PMF)的自主研制及其性能表征和温度特性研究。基于改进的化学气相沉积法(MCVD)结合高温气相沉积技术,成功制备了15/250μm熊猫型TD-PMF。经测定,该TD-PMF双折射系数为2.16×10^(-4),在-35~85℃范围内吸收系数、损耗基本保持稳定且偏振消光比保持在23.1dB~23.7dB,具有优异的温度稳定性和偏振特性。该TD-PMF用作2μm波段偏振激光输出的增益介质,可助力掺铥保偏光纤激光器的快速发展和实现输出功率的不断提升。In order to promote the research on thulium-doped polarization-maintaining fiber lasers in China,the independent development,performance characterization,and temperature characteristics of thulium-doped polarization-maintaining fiber(TD-PMF)are studied.Based on an improved chemical vapor deposition method(MCVD)combined with high-temperature vapor deposition technology,15/250μm panda-type TD-PMF is successfully prepared.After measurement,the birefringence coefficient of the TD-PMF is 2.16×10^(-4).The absorption coefficient at 788 nm and loss at 860 nm of the TD-PMF remain stable within the range of-35~85℃,and the polarization extinction ratio remains at 23.1 dB~23.7 dB.The TD-PMF has excellent temperature stability and polarization characteristics.The TD-PMF is used as a gain medium for polarization laser output in the 2μm band,which can assist in the rapid development of thulium-doped polarization-maintaining fiber lasers and achieve continuous improvement in output power.
