通用学术英语写作教学中比照与对比策略探究

摘  要:比较类型的英语文章创作有三点内在要求:第一,研究初期需探寻研究对象之间比较动因;第二,依据研究事物所涉领域的相关理论知识构建参考体系;第三,明确比较内容之间的逻辑关系。部分学生误将信息的列举当对比,写出来的中心句不体现研究对象之间的逻辑关联。研究简析本科比较类英文写作的常见错误,揭示其问题源于对前述理论学习的缺失,并通过阐释两例参考文段的创作方法,为类似写作提供实践指导。The article explores three core requirements for writing a comparative essay:purpose of comparison,frame of reference,and logical connections.Purpose of comparison is the rationale behind the choice of the two particular study objects;frame of reference is the reasonable perspectives from which we view the differences/similarities of the objects;logical connections refer to the ways one research object relates to the other.Students sometimes confuse enumerating with conparing,and write topic sentences without forming a clear logic between the two research objects in question.The article also briefly investigates common erros in undergraduate comparative English writing on the basis of these requirements,provides and studies reference example sentences,aiming to offer practical guidance for similar writings.
