摘  要:钴是21世纪重要的关键矿产。湖南省已发现钴矿产地及矿(化)点30余处,但勘查工作与成矿规律研究较为薄弱,制约了下一步勘查工作的部署和找矿突破。文章对湖南省钴矿床类型、成矿地质特征进行了梳理并结合区域地质演化,探讨了下一步找矿方向,初步取得如下认识:(1)湖南已发现的钴矿类型可归为热液型、岩浆型和风化型。(2)湘东北至湘中(衡阳盆地周缘)区域具有进一步寻找燕山晚期与古太平洋板块向西俯冲-后撤背景相关的热液型钴矿床的较大前景。(3)雪峰构造带内发育较多的超基性橄榄岩,是寻找岩浆型钴(镍)矿床的重要方向。(4)风化型钴矿床成矿地质条件有限,不是找矿主要目标。(5)湖南新元古代裂谷阶段是良好的钴成矿地质背景;湘东南矽卡岩型铅-锌-铁-铜矿床是否有伴生钴矿,值得关注。Cobalt is an important key mineral in the 21st century.Hunan province has discovered more than 30 cobalt ore producing areas and mineralization points,but the exploration work and research on mineralization laws are relatively weak,which restricts the deployment of the next exploration work and breakthroughs in mineral exploration.This article summarizes the types and geological characteristics of cobalt deposits in Hunan province,and combines them with regional geological evolution to explore the next direction of mineral exploration.The following preliminary understanding has been obtained:(1)The discovered cobalt deposits in Hunan can be classified into hydrothermal,magmatic,and weathered types.(2)The area from northeastern Hunan to central Hunan(around the Hengyang basin)has great potential for further exploration of hydrothermal cobalt deposits related to the westward subduction of the late Yanshan and ancient Pacific plates.(3)The well-developed ultrabasic peridotite in the Xuefeng tectonic zone is an important direction for searching for magmatic cobalt(nickel)deposits.(4)The geological conditions for mineralization of weathered cobalt deposits are limited and not the main target for prospecting.(5)The Neoproterozoic rift stage in Hunan is a favorable geological background for cobalt mineralization;It is worth paying attention to whether there are associated cobalt deposits in the lead zinc iron copper deposits of the skarn type in southeastern Hunan.
